Battery runt time and longevity

Power consumption will vary depending on settings, temperature and age. For example a tracker that reports every 10 second use more energy than a tracker that reports every 4 minutes. Settings for sleep mode and signal conditions will also affect battery run time. In theory a battery with 1000 mAh capacity and 5 mAh consumption will have 200 hours run time (1000/5=200). The battery level indicator in our tracking portal is a theoretical estimation. Actual remaining battery capacity is in most cases longer.

Internal temperature of the battery during charging is recommended to be between +10℃ ~ +30℃. Longevity and how long the battery will last after each charge is negatively affected by temperatures below or close to 0℃.
